i am not saying that no members any particular group can have any credibility

all i am saying as far as Republicans is that most of the ones who oppose Obamacare do so not because of reasoning, but partisan loyalty to their party and preset opposition to Democrats and Obama

as far as the Christian thing, Alex Jones is an investigative journalist. he makes monumental claims about the world, claims that would require greater skepticism than should allow for religious faith.

  2. floridagrandpa says:

akasaart: I am a Christian and register Republican too. I am for health care reform and the public option. People are not so black and white. Nixion tried to reform health care with a plan much like the ones on the table today. The Democrats defeated it. The problem the opposition has is it is in the best interest for most to reform health care. But a few special interest with deep pockets would lose money. So they don’t use logic but instead try to scare us.

I wish he would have stated if he was against Medicare cuts NOW, not just in the past

  4. JayPhilosopher says:

Thanks Joe, these are excellent points. You did a great job of explaining this stuff. Count me as standing up with you.

  5. DrummerDG says:

I would assume that that has more to do with keeping them out of the public spotlight than anything else.

  6. bigoljameo says:

When Obama has a choice he sent his kids two private schools in DC. And why? because anything run by the government end up being shit.

  7. memama2 says:

……..these guys are spending each and every day = LYING BY OMMISION!…….and then making stuff up as they ROB from the piggy bank of gammie and gampie! And then having Social Security near bankrupt YET! – they want to ADD on to another Government PLAN? = please! you are all idiots!!!!

  8. sbmcguire03 says:

Well Carter was horrible but all administrations have contributed in one way or another.

  9. TrollBuster9090 says:

‘Bush Bush Bush.. same old arguement, same old sad excuse. Point the finger and blame someone else”

I agree, blaming the failed economy on a past president is a pathetic excuse. And if the Democrats are pathetic for blaming it on Bush, Republicans are PHENOMENALLY pathetic for trying to pin it on Carter or FDR.

  10. TrollBuster9090 says:

I don’t know why you bother making a long video like this, Joe.

Why not just play that ridiculous record the Republicans and the AMA sent around in the 60s when they were trying to prevent Medicare from being formed in the first place. The one where Ronald Reagan says ‘If you pass medicare, the next day you’ll wake up in a Soviet gulag.’ It should sound very familiar.

  11. dragonflychainsaw says:

i may not agree with everything that this administration has done but it still is so much better than the previous eight years

  12. f1nK3L90 says:

prepare yourselves for the new improved health care industry. the trend is to spend more government money on more people. check the “historical tables” published by the government. the government’s duty is to continue the trend, whether they know it or not. my charts will be on wikipedia. see for yourselves how obvious is this trend. old age insurance is not nearly bankrupt: it’s fund is stronger than ever. it is medicaid and disability insurance that are under threat. all published information.

  13. f1nK3L90 says:

well what about assistants and pages? most senators and congressman have more than one page or assistant – that means that most people are probably younger than 30, don’t you think?

  14. hansrosbach says:

    Excellent!

  15. Forceflows says:

I thought Biden was asked not to make public appearances.

  16. lildwayne21 says:

Hahahaha. Yeah, he’s old yo. Virtually everybody who works for the US government is old, whether their a member of Congress, an advisor to the President, a lobbyist, the VP, the President to some extent. Generally most people who work for the gov. are in that 30-65 year old range.

  17. Maplesyrup41 says:

    wow joe is old

  18. truthforamerica says:

Yesterday Dirty Harry Reid likened Republicans to those who didn’t want to end slavery. As I recall Lincoln (a Republican) signed the Emancipation Proclamation. Senator Robert Byrd (a Democrat) filibustered the Civil Rights Act. I just named a couple pieces of history that Reid is not bright enough to understand. Him and Biden in this video above prove the desperation that these leftist Democrats have to pass this government takeover of healthcare. Medicare is broke. Bad track record.

  19. 320iguy says:

    R tard

  20. truthforamerica says:

Biden will go down in history as the dumbest Vice President we have ever had. Medicare is bankrupt you idiot! You want to parade that as an example? These politicians should be put in jail! They are bankrupting this nation and calling it a good thing. Trillions of dollars in unfunded liabilities.

  21. RoyalForesaken says:

True Republican’s are resorting to lieing and other dirty things to ruin Obama’s plans.

  22. todnyc says:

    Awesome video

  23. MoPapparani says:

Let’s just call it what it is…

The right wing is resorting to Terrorism

terrorism – the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, to produce a state of fear or submission; a method of governing or of resisting a government

…that sounds like everything the Republicans are doing.

  24. underbird says:

You just illustrated my point perfectly.

  25. Megpie1983 says:

Scare tactics is all the right wing knows how to do lately. Why don’t they introduce a new plan if this one is so terrible? Also I love how our President and Vice President keep us informed with videos like this. keepin us in the loop
